Beijing: Police in China have arrested a man
suspected to have set off an explosion in Beijing`s diplomatic
area last week, in which an American was injured.
Lei Sen, 21, confessed he had caused the blast for
personal reasons, state run Xinhua news agency quoted Beijing
Public Security Bureau officials as saying.
The officials did not say how or where he was caught nor
the reasons why he chose to set of the explosive.
The blast occurred on October 21 near the busy Dongzhimen
subway station, close to many embassies.
A 30-year-old American man who was studying in China was
injured in the blast.
