Dubai: An Emirates plane EK521 with 275 on board was involved in an accident on landing Wednesday at Dubai airport.
Fortunately, all the passengers were evacuated safely, the Dubai Media office said.
All passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported so far," it said, adding that all departures from Dubai International have been halted "until further notice."
Dubai airport was immediately closed for landings and take offs. Flights headed to Dubai were diverted.
The aircraft involved in the accident is a Boeing 777-300 that was delivered in March 2003.
