Get serious like Bangaloreans: Obama to US kids

‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Heather Dubrow has hit back at Barack Obama.

London: ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Heather Dubrow has hit back at Barack Obama after he called on young Americans to stop “hangin’ out” and start doing their homework as they are competing against youngsters from Beijing and Bangalore.

The reality television actress was fuming when the world’s most powerful man took a swipe at the franchise in a speech earlier this week and claimed it is one of the reasons America’s youth are not fulfilling their potential.

“Barack Obama, in light of your recent comments, I’d like to point out that I am on #RHOC AND college educated AND considered a role model,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

Dubrow did not even point out her many appearances on American television, which include a stint on lightly regard sitcom ‘Life With Roger’ and a guest appearance on the flop US version of ‘Men Behaving Badly.’

It all stems from some unscripted remarks the Democrat made while addressing the National Urban League on Wednesday.

Attempting to riff during the speech in New Orleans, he said: “You’re competing against young people in Beijing and Bangalore.”

“You know they’re not hangin’ out. They’re not playin’ video games. They’re not watching Real Housewives.”

“I’m just saying, it’s a two-way street. That wasn’t in my prepared remarks. But I’m just saying,” he said.
