Kathmandu: Three persons, who were in possession of leopard hide and bones, were arrested today on the outskirts of Kathmandu, the Nepalese capital.
Acting on a tip off, police arrested the suspected smugglers from Bafal area this morning.
Chhiring Jimba (30) was arrested and body parts of a poached large feline was seized from his rented room in Bafal, police said.
During the raid, police also found a six-and-half-foot hide with skull and tail intact, a rib bone, four leg bones and spine concealed in a rucksack.
Two others, Sharada Jimba (28) and Bibash Ghalan (33) were also arrested.
