Three persons arrested with leopard skin in Nepal

Three persons, who were in possession of leopard hide and bones, were arrested today on the outskirts of Kathmandu, the Nepalese capital.

Acting on a tip off, police arrested the suspected smugglers from Bafal area this morning.

Chhiring Jimba (30) was arrested and body parts of a poached large feline was seized from his rented room in Bafal, police said.

During the raid, police also found a six-and-half-foot hide with skull and tail intact, a rib bone, four leg bones and spine concealed in a rucksack.

Two others, Sharada Jimba (28) and Bibash Ghalan (33) were also arrested.
