US still very nervous after nine years of 9/11: Bush

Former US president George W Bush has said that his country was still very nervous even after nine years of the terror attack in 2001.

Abuja: Former US president George W Bush has said that his country was still very nervous even after nine years of the terror attack in 2001.

"We are still very nervous after 9/11," Bush said as he pointed out reasons for listing Nigeria as a country of interest after the failed bombing plot by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab on Christmas day last year.

Bush, who was speaking at an award event organised by a newspaper company, said the US Congress is very concerned about such matters.

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said the best way to conquer terrorism was "to show that people of different faiths could live together and that people should not
disrespect each other’s religions."
