The horrific moment when a blast at a Hindu shrine in Thai capital Bangkok killed at least 21 and injured over 120, has been captured in a video made by a tourist on his cell phone.

Bangkok: The horrific moment when a blast at a Hindu shrine in Thai capital Bangkok killed at least 21 and injured over 120, has been captured in a video made by a tourist on his cell phone.

The video lasting for some 48 seconds was shot by a Chinese tourist and given to a Chinese-language news outlet in Bangkok, MGTV.

The video, published by the Telegraph, shows people going about their business when a loud boom is heard triggering chaos and sending people in tizzy as they run for their lives.

The blast at Erawan shrine, dedicated to Lord Bramha, killed at least 21 and authorities have identified a suspect on the CCTV footage.

The PM has called it the worst attack ever in Thailand and promised to hunt the perpetrators of the attack soon.

Recounting the horror of the blast, one of the eyewitnesses, Sanjeev Vyas, a DJ from Mumbai, India, told the CNN, "It was like this huge gust of wind and debris flying through you... And then I see bodies everywhere, there are cars on fire, there are bikes everywhere. People are screaming."
