Yemeni President sacks Governors of five provinces

Sanaa: Embattled Yemeni President Ali
Abdullah Saleh sacked on Wednesday the governors of five of the
country`s 21 provinces where anti-regime protests have been
raging for more than a month.
The governors of the provinces of Aden, Lahij and
Abyan in the south, as well as Hadramut in the southeast and
Hudayda in the west have been sacked, an official statement
said.
