Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would be holding a crucial meeting with the Group of Ministers (GoM) on the issue of the state`s division in Delhi on Monday.

Reddy has said that he would try to persuade the Centre to keep the state united. "I am committed to the cause of unified Andhra Pradesh and believe that the state would develop in a big way only if it remains undivided. The division would give rise to many problems. Many issues, which may arise due to it, cannot be solved easily. Therefore, I would explain the need for a unified state to the GoM," he had said yesterday.
He also said he was not worried about keeping his post.
Meanwhile, Union Ministers from Seemandhra, who would also meet the GoM, said their effort is to keep the state united. They, however, said they are concerned about the interests of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema if division became inevitable.
