New Delhi: Two Congress MPs from Telangana Monday came down heavily on Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress leader Jaganmohan Reddy, alleging that they were instigating violence in Seemandhra region by changing their stand on Telangana.
Congress MPs Ponnam Prabhakar and Sircilla Rajaiah also sent copies of Indian Constitution to Naidu and Reddy to "make them understand" and counter their argument that the Centre`s decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh was "unconstitutional".
Prabhakar alleged that the Congress Chief Minister extended all help to Naidu to facilitate his agitation at the state-controlled Andhra Bhavan in the national capital.
"Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu and Y S Jaganmohan Reddy are changing their stand minute by minute," Prabhakar said and pointed out that three of them had not opposed the formation of Telangana when the agitation for the separate statehood was at the peak in the state.
He reminded the Chief Minister of his words that he would abide by whatever decision the high command would take.
"CPI(M) leaders have articulated their stand that they are against division of Andhra Pradesh. That is their ideological position. They have not changed their stand. But the Chief Minister, Naidu and Jaganmohan Reddy are changing their colours like a chameleon. Only political prostitutes can do like this," Prabhakar said.
Sending the copies of the Constitution to two agitation leaders Naidu and Reddy, the MPs said it clearly says that Parliament by law can form a new state by separation of territory from any state.
They also expressed their gratitude to Congress President Sonia Gandhi for executing the promise made to the people of Telanagana region.
