Morigaon: Four students were injured during a clash between two groups of students in the boys' hostel of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Morigaon in central Assam Saturday night.
Police said hostel inmates of Class 11 and Class 12 were involved in the clash, in which both sides used sharp weapons.
Police immediately rushed to the school and brought the situation under control.
School sources said some hostel inmates have vacated the place this morning fearing further violence.
However, the girls' hostel of the residential school was not affected by the incident.
