Burglary in MP`s house in Bihar

Gopalganj (Bihar): Burglars broke into the house of JD(U) MP from Gopalganj, Purnamasi Ram, located near the residences of the DM and the SP, and decamped with cash and articles late Friday night, police said.

Ram lodged a case in regard complaining a theft of Rs 51,000 and goods worth Rs 13,000 with the Town police station of Gopalganj district, they said.

The police said the burglars broke open the lock and took away the cash and valuable clothes stuffed in a brief case from the house.

The MP, who was in Bagha last night, was informed about the theft this morning by the neighbours.

Ram`s house is on NH 28 near the residence of Gopalganj District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police.
