Kidnapped boy rescued in Biharsharif

The child Anant was abducted from Telco police station area in Jamshedpur and kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh for his release.

Bihar: A three-year-old boy, who was abducted from Jamshedpur, was rescued and two kidnappers were arrested from Bihar`s Nalanda district early on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a house in Rahui police station area and rescued the boy, son of Pramod Paswan, an employee of Food Corporation Of India (FCI) in Jamshedpur, police said.

Two abductors were also arrested during the police operation.

The child Anant was abducted from Telco police station area in Jamshedpur recently and the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from Paswan for his release.
