Raipur: In a major success, Dantewada police have busted an arms manufacturing unit and arrested four Naxals.
Dantewada SP Ankit Garg told a news agency that police arrested two Naxals -- Dilip and Nandalal -- and their associate Ravindra Haldar from Sukma area of the district.
In another operation, Dantewada police raided an arms
manufacturing unit of Naxals in Khammam district of
neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and arrested Gangaraj.

Garg said that Dilip was arrested on Saturday from
Badesatti village in connection with the May 17 killing of
seven CRPF jawans in the state, and his questioning led to the
arrest of Nandlal, a panchayat member.

He said that Nandlal`s interrogation revealed information
about the armament factory in Andhra Pradesh.

CRPF and Dantewada police today jointly raided the
factory in Khammam and seized six guns.

Police believe that Naxal sourced weapons from the
factory on a large scale.
