Six Naxals arrested in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Six Naxals were arrested from the
forest area of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh and two guns
and explosives seized from them, police said.

The six Naxals were holding a `meeting` in the forest
area near village Hitameta and Nardongri when they were
noticed by the security forces who were patrolling in the
area.
The Naxals started fleeing after sensing the presence of
the police but could not and were arrested.
Two loaded guns and some explosives were also seized
from them, police said adding that they were being
interrogated and further investigation were on.
