Kurukshetra: More than 40 students of two
separate primary schools in the district fell ill after eating the food provided under the mid-day meal scheme this afternoon, education department officials said.
They have been rushed to the local civil hospital and the condition of some of the students is said to be critical,
they added.
According to the officials, a complaint of school
teachers reached the block education office that some of the
students in the school were vomiting and some have fainted
after having the food under the mid-day meal scheme.
They were immediately rushed to the hospital, they
added.
