Congress protests outside Kejriwal's residence over petrol, diesel VAT rate hike

The Youth Congress workers on Thursday staged a protest outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence over the Value Added Tax (VAT) hike on petrol and diesel.

New Delhi: The Youth Congress workers on Thursday staged a protest outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence over the Value Added Tax (VAT) hike on petrol and diesel.

The protesters also raised slogan against the AAP Government.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also protested against the same issue in the national capital today.

The Aam Aadmi Party has increased the VAT on petrol from present 20 to 25 percent and on diesel from 12.5 to 16.6 percent effective from midnight last night.
