New Delhi: Five men were arrested for their alleged involvement in separate incidents of sexual assault, including a gang-rape, police said on Friday.
Shejad, 29, and Furkan Ali, 23, were arrested for allegedly gang-raping a 16-year-old housemaid after giving her tea laced with sedatives on January 26.
In an another incident, Chandigarh-based businessman Balwinder Singh Sandhu, 28, was arrested for allegedly raping a married woman on the pretext of marrying her.
Sandhu, who used to stay in the neighbourhood of the woman, had befriended her.
Another person, who had allegedly raped one of his neighbours recently, was arrested from Vasant Kunj.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Deepak was arrested for allegedly raping his sister-in-law at south Delhi`s Mehrauli. Deepak had allegedly been raping the victim since November last year.
