Humid conditions on Thursday prevailed in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 30 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.

According to a MeT official, the maximum humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM was 65 per cent while minimum was 37 per cent.

Weatherman has predicted partly cloudy sky post afternoon and the maximum temperature is likely to cross the 40 mark and will be around 41 degrees Celsius.

"There is very less possibility of rainfall," an official said.
Delhiites reeled under hot and humid conditions yesterday as the maximum temperature settled at 40.5 degree Celsius making it the hottest day of July in two years.

The minimum temperature recorded yesterday was 29.6 degrees Celsius which was two notches above normal.
