Mercury in the national capital continued to rise, with the maximum temperature on Monday breaching the 32 degree Celsius-mark.

New Delhi: Mercury in the national capital continued to rise, with the maximum temperature on Monday breaching the 32 degree Celsius-mark.

The maximum temperature was recored at 32.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature registered was at 19 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal, the MeT Department said.

Humidity level in the air oscillated between 42 per cent and 92 per cent.

The weatherman has forecast a clear sky for tomorrow with mist in the morning.

"The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius while the minimum would be 18 degrees Celsius," a MeT official said.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 18.2 degrees Celsius.
