New Delhi: A minor girl was raped by her neighbour in her home here, police said Sunday.
The 11-year-old girl was raped by her neighbour Balkishan, 28, a labourer, in Nihal Vihar area in west Delhi Saturday, police said.
"The victim was alone at her home when Balkishan barged into her house and raped her. He also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident," said a police officer.
The girl told her mother about the incident who approached police Sunday. A case of rape was registered after medical examination confirmed sexual assault. police said.
