The minimum temperature was recorded at 13.4 degree
Celsius, one degree below normal and over two notches up from
yesterday`s low of 15.9 degree Celsius.
The maximum temperature in the last 24 hours was
recorded at 27.6 degree Celsius, which is normal for this time
of the year.

The mercury is likely to rise in the coming days, the
Met office said, adding, a clear sky will be seen tomorrow
with temperature oscillating between 15 and 28 degrees
Celsius.
According to National Centre for Medium Range Weather
Forecasting (NCMRWF), the minimum temperature will be around
15 deg C and maximum 28 deg C till March ten, while it will
rise to 16 and 29 degrees in the next two days.

The mean temperature for the month of March is 15.4
deg C (minimum) and 30 deg C (maximum). In the last 11 years,
the minimum had dropped below 10 deg C only in 2001 and 2003.
