New Delhi: It will be a cloudy Wednesday here with the possibility of rainfall in some areas, said the Met Office.
"The sky will be generally cloudy today (Wednesday). Very light rain/thundershowers may occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The day`s maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday`s minimum temperature was recorded a notch above the season`s average at 27.6 degrees Celsius.
The city has received 0.4 mm of rainfall since Tuesday.
Humidity at 8.30 am was 80 percent.
Tuesday`s maximum temperature settled at 33.5 degrees Celsius - average for this time of the season, while the minimum was 26.8 degrees Celsius - also average for this time of the season.
