The minimum temperature was recorded at 18.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

The Met office has forecast overcast conditions with spells of rains during the day.

"Safdarjung observatory, which is considered the official reading for Delhi, received 15 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours till 8:30 AM while areas under Palam, Lodhi Road, Ayanagar and Ridge recorded 27.2 mm, 24 mm, 19 and 10.4 mm rains," said the MeT official.

As per the Met forecast, the city is likely to experience one or two spells of rainfall with thundershowers in some parts with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 AM was 96 per cent.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 30.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 19 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
