New Delhi: Cricketer Virender Sehwag`s sister Anju Meherwal on Tuesday won the municipal elections in Delhi.
The Delhi Daredevils captain had batted for his sister, taking out time from his IPL schedule on April 12 to campaign where she was fighting the elections.
Anju, a 35-year-old Hindi teacher is married to a property dealer Ravinder Singh and lives in Madangir village.
She has defeated her nearest BJP rival.
