Panaji: A 77-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 45-year-old mentally-challenged woman in Assolda village, police said Thursday.
Teofilo Moraes was held yesterday for allegedly raping the victim at his farm in Quepem taluka on June 23.
The victim initially kept mum on the incident but later confided in her sister who lodged the complaint against Moraes.
