Former BJP MLA acquitted in attempt to murder case

Rajkot: Former BJP MLA Jayrajsinh Jadeja was
today acquitted along with his eight accomplices in an attempt
to murder case by a fast-track court in Gondal here today,
sources said.

Jadeja, a former MLA from Gondal, was accused of
attacking Gondal Nagar Palika president Govind Desai, also a
BJP leader with sharp edged weapons along with his accomplices
in September 2001, they said.
