Ahmedabad: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the kite festival together here on Tuesday organised on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Salman lauded Modi for the good work that he had done in Gujarat. The Gujarat CM also praised Salman and said that he flew the kite well.
The BJP`s prime ministerial candidate posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “It was good to see Salman Khan trying his hand at flying kites. He flew the kites well.”

Salman Khan today had lunch with Modi and then took part in kite flying. Later while addressing the media he said that God should decide who is the best man for the country and that the best man should become the PM.
Salman was in town to promote his his film `Jai Ho`. While he was addressing the media at Ghatlodia in the city, the Gujarat CM was standing alongside him. However, Salman parried questions regarding whether he would back Modi as the next PM and whether he would vote for him.
But he did say that Modi should get whatever was in his destiny. Salman also said that the BJP`s PM candidate for 2014 Lok Sabha polls had brought much progress to Gujarat. He added that he liked Modi and that he was a great man.
