Haryana govt staff to get interest-free advance for Diwali

The Haryana government would provide all Class-IV employees of the state an interest-free festival advance of Rs 4,000 on the occasion of Diwali, an official spokesman said here on Friday.

Chandigarh: The Haryana government would provide all Class-IV employees of the state an interest-free festival advance of Rs 4,000 on the occasion of Diwali, an official spokesman said here on Friday.
The advance would be admissible to permanent and temporary Class-IV employees and ad-hoc employees, who have been in service for the past one year and are likely to continue for another four months, he said, adding about 47,000 employees are eligible to avail this benefit.

The spokesman said the entire advance would be recovered in four equal monthly installments from the salary of the employees before the close of the current financial year.

In case, both the husband and the wife were employed, the advance would be allowed to only one of them, the spokesman said.
