One-week-old baby girl found dumped at bus stand

Rewari: An infant girl was found
abandoned at a secluded spot near the bus stand at Shahpur
village near here, police said on Thursday.

The baby girl, wrapped in a towel, appears to be about a
week-old, the police said, adding that she was sent to the
civil hospital here for a medical checkup.

A case of abandonment of the infant has been registered
as it seems that she was left there by her family, the police
said.
