One person died of swine flu in Rajasthan, taking the death toll due to HINI virus to 433 since January this year, an official said today.

One person succumbed to the H1N1 virus in Kota yesterday, the official of the state Medical and Health Directorate said here.

Due to temperature rising above 40 degrees Celsius at all places in the state, the incidence of swine flu occurrence has reduced drastically as only seven persons tested H1N1 positive since April 14, the official said.

Out of 6,696 people diagnosed with the virus in the state, 433 people have died.

Barring Dholpur and Sirohi, swine flu deaths have occurred in all 31 districts of Rajasthan, the official added.

Jaipur has recorded 85 deaths, maximum in the state followed by Ajmer 48, Jodhpur 33, Nagaur 31, Barmer 23, Kota 22, Udaipur 15, Chittorgarh 14, Bhilwara and Tonk 13 each, Sikar and Pali 12 each, Jhunjhunu 11, Churu 10, Bikaner 8, Dausa and Bharatpur 7 each, Rajsamand, Alwar and Banswara 6 each.
