Colorado mother gives birth to a baby weighing 14 pounds

New Delhi: Shocking everyone, a mother in Colorado, Alisha Hernandez gave birth to a daughter who tipped the scales at huge 14 pounds.

Hernandez went into labor on Monday and gave birth to Mia Yasmin Garcia by caesarean section at the San Luis Valley Hospital in Alamosa, weighing 13 pounds, 13 ounces.

Mia not just shocked her mother, who expected a small seven pound baby, but also the hospital staff as when she arrived, she looked a lot larger than they first thought she would be.
