Form panel to monitor skill of youth in HP: Dhumal

Himachal Pradesh government has directed authorities to constitute employment committees at the state and district level to monitor skills of the youth for employment in the industrial sector.

directed authorities to constitute employment committees at
the state and district level to monitor skills of the youth
for employment in the industrial sector.

Presiding over a meeting convened to review employment
potential in the industrial sector, Chief Minister Prem Kumar
Dhumal said 70 per cent employment at all levels to the local
youth would be made mandatory in the state, an official
release here said today.

Dhumal said the state government had included the
members of industries association as member of the management
of the industrial training institutes (ITI) with a view to
develop emerging skills among the trainees.
