Sushma Swaraj to embark on four-day visit to China

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will embark on a four-day visit to China starting tomorrow.

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will embark on a four-day visit to China starting tomorrow.

Sushma will be accompanied by newly appointed Foreign Secretary Dr. S Jaishankar.

"Going to China from 31st January to 3rd February. Foreign Secretary Dr. S. Jaishankar is accompanying me," the External Affairs Minister tweeted.

Sushma and her Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi will discuss bilateral, regional and global issues of concern to both the sides.

During her visit, the External Affairs Minister will inaugurate the second India-China High-Level Media Forum and attend the launch of `Visit India Year` in Beijing.

She will also participate in the 13th Foreign Ministers` Meeting of Russia-India- China Trilateral, and will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of the meeting.
