AI operates additional flight for stranded passengers in J&K

Air India would operate an additional flight between Jammu and Srinagar on Monday for passengers stranded in both the cities following closure of Jammu-Srinagar highway for last three days, the airline officials said here.

The additional flight would operate from Srinagar to
Jammu this afternoon. It would go to Srinagar and return here
before proceeding to New Delhi this evening, they said.

This would enable 225 stranded passengers, besides 150 in
routine AI flight, to reach their respective destinations.

Meanwhile, flights on Jammu-Srinagar sector could operate
only after 1100 hours today due to inclement weather.
