Jammu: The BJP in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday threatened to launch a state-wide agitation in protest against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah`s remarks on the state`s accession with India and his government`s allegedly continued discrimination against Jammu region.
"BJP will launch state-wide agiation against utterances of Omar on the issue of accession of Jammu and Kashmir with the Union of India on the floor of the Assembly last month and continous discrimination with the Jammu region by his government", BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas said addressing a meeting of party workers at Dayalachak about 65-kms from here in Kathua district.

The programme of the agitation would be announced at a massive rally of party workers in Jammu on November 20, Manhas said.
"We shall not rest till the Chief Minister comes out
with a categorical declaration that J&K state is an integral part of the nation and discrimination with Jammu will stop," he said.
