Jammu: Activists of BJP`s youth wing on Monday
held a protest outside the Raj Bhawan here, demanding
revocation of Jammu and Kashmir government`s new recruitment
policy.

Protesters from Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha raising
slogans against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah demanded
immediate withdrawal of the recruitment policy under which new
non-gazetted recruit would only get 50 per cent of basic pay
for the first two years and 75 per cent of basic for the next
three year without any allowances.

"Such recruitment policy exists nowhere, not even
abroad. Today even a labourer earns more than Rs 7,500, while
the state government`s recent policy has fixed just Rs 2,800
per month for its new employee, which is unjustified and
exploitation of the educated unemployed youth," BJYM State
President Munish Sharma said.
