Jammu: Underscoring the importance of armed
police in dealing with emergencies and maintaining law and
order in Jammu and Kashmir, Director General of Police Kuldeep
Khoda said that "ill designs of anti-peace elements" will be
foiled.
"The ill designs of the elements inimical to peace will
be foiled and peace and order, which is the pre-condition for
creating congenial atmosphere for education, trade and
tourism, will be maintained," Khoda said at a function here.
The DGP underscored the importance of armed police in
dealing with emergency situations and maintaining law and
order in the state.
Expressing his satisfaction over working of Jammu
and Kashmir Armed Police in day-to-day policing, he said that
JKAP is the back bone of the Police organization and its
jawans and officers have demonstrated great professionalism,
discipline and valour in maintaining the security of the
state.
