J&K gets 7,500 ballot boxes from Punjab for Panchayat polls

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has received over 7,500 polling boxes from Punjab for use in the forthcoming Panchayat polls.

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has
received over 7,500 polling boxes from Punjab for use in the
forthcoming Panchayat polls.

The boxes have been distributed in various blocks figuring
in the first phase on April 13, official sources said.

Approximately 14,000 ballot boxes will be required for
smooth conduct of polling which will be done in 16 phases.
