The Manager of Jammu and Kashmir House in the capital has lodged a police complaint against state Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand accusing him of using "abusive and unparliamentary" language against him.

New Delhi: The Manager of Jammu and Kashmir
House in the capital has lodged a police complaint against
state Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand accusing him of using
"abusive and unparliamentary" language against him.

Ikramur Rehman Fazli, the Manager, filed the complaint
in Chanakyapuri Police Station on April 27 claiming that Chand
used "abusive and unparliamentary language derogatory to his
religious beliefs" accusing him of not providing rooms to his
guests at the JK House on April 23.
Police said they have received the complaint and
investigations were on. Chand`s version of the story could not
be obtained.

According to Fazli, he took charge as the manager on
April 19 and the incident took place four days later when a
host of ministers, senior judges and other officials from the
state were visiting the capital. He said all the rooms were
allotted to VIPs.

He claimed that driver Chhote Lal came to him saying he
would be staying at the suite of the Deputy CM and demanded
that a separate bed be provided in the suite. This request was
accepted.

However, late in the night he received calls from senior
officials attached with Chand and was asked to provide rooms
for guests, who Fazli claimed came without prior intimation.

He received a call from Lal who told Fazli that the
Deputy Chief Minister was "very angry" and wanted to meet him,
the complainant claimed.
When he reached the JK House, he alleged, Chand rushed
out and used abusive language against him.
