J&K: Surrendered militant among two arrested in Rajouri

Two persons, including a former militant, were arrested in Rajouri district.

Jammu: Two persons, including a former
militant, were on Sunday arrested in Rajouri district, police said.

Acting on intelligence inputs, police arrested Hakim
Shah and Zaman Shah alias Tanveer in Changdo village and sent
them for interrogation, they said.

Tanveer, police said, had earlier surrendered before
the Rashtriya Rifles in 2003 and came out from jail four years
later, they said.

Police suspect Tanveer, who had settled in the village
with Hakim Shah`s help, was a Pakistani national.
