"There is need for greater synergy among the law enforcing agencies to ensure sustained peace in the state," Kumar said while chairing a high level meeting at Police Headquarters here.

The police chief asked the officials to maintain constant vigil on the activities of anti-national elements, so that peace in state is not disturbed.

He expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements for the ongoing Amarnath Yatra and directed all officials concerned to personally supervise and implement necessary instructions issued in this regard.

He enquired about the performance of joint control rooms and the meetings of different agencies to maintain coordination as well.
