Youth murder case solved, two arrested

With the arrest of two youths, police Friday claimed to have solved the murder case of a 17-year-old boy, who went missing last month, in central Kashmir`s Ganderbal district.

Srinagar: With the arrest of two youths, police Friday claimed to have solved the murder case of a 17-year-old boy, who went missing last month, in central Kashmir`s Ganderbal district.

17-year-old Umar Rashid Malla of Atkhuru village and
19-year-old Mehrajuddin Khuru were arrested after police tracked calls from the cellphone of Aijaz Ahmad Guroo, resident of Atkhuru village in Ganderbal, who went missing on November 26, police said.
The cellphone was found with a woman in Pattan area of
Baramulla district which led the police to the accused.
During the interrogation, Malla allegedly confessed
that he murdered Guroo in connivance with Khuru and threw the
body in the Sind nallah.

Police has recovered the body from the Sind stream.
