Gumla (Jharkhand): The ultras of the People`s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) and activists of an unidentified group on Monday exchanged fire at Redhwa village of the district, the police said.
Getting information that the two groups were trading fire, the security forces rushed to the spot, Superintendent of Police Jatin Narwal told reporters here.
The combatants fled after sighting the force, he said, adding there was no casualty.
The police launched raids in the area and were trying to identify the second group.
