Gumla: A Gumla Zilla Parishad member has lodged an FIR against Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member M Ribello accusing her of abducting him to prevent him from voting in Zilla Parishad election.
Superintendent of Police NK Singh said Gumla Zilla Parishad member George Kerketa yesterday lodged an FIR against Congress MP M Ribello and two others accusing them of abducting him on the January 20 to prevent him from voting
during the election of the deputy chairmanship of the Zilla Parishad.
Kerketa further alleged that he was let off only after the polling time was over.
Ribello represents the Upper House from Jharkhand.
