Cong accuses BJP of not taking action against Yeddyurappa

Congress accused the BJP of not taking any action on charges of corruption surrounding Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.

Jaipur: Congress on Saturday accused the BJP of
not taking any action on charges of corruption surrounding
Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.

"Congress party took action as soon as 2G spectrum
issue came to light and different agencies are now probing the
case. The party has sought resignation even from a chief
minister and a minister over corruption charges, but BJP`s
approach is quite opposite," AICC spokesman Abhishek Singhvi
said at a press conference here.
"Congress tries to stop corruption but BJP promotes
the ill-practice. BJP neither took action nor initiates any
enquiry to probe corruption charges on Karnataka Chief
Minister," he said.
On whether action will be taken against Ameen Khan,
who had to quit as a Rajasthan Minister in the wake of
controversial remarks against President Pratibha Patil,
Singhvi said, "Leave it to us, it is a party matter."
