Kochi: Police used water cannons to chase away protesting activists of AIYF who took out a march in front of the taluk office protesting against the government policy on admissions to self financing colleges.
The activists who took out a march to the Kannyannur taluk office tried to break the barricades set up police when water cannons were used by police to chase them away.
Some students also pelted stones at the police. The students were arrested and removed, police said.
