Thrissur: The Kerala Sahitya Academy
(KSA) here would be celebrating the birth centenaries of l0
literary giants of the state in the current year.

Sivasankara Pillai and C B Kumar, Academy`s president, P
Valsala, told reporters here today.
Academy fellowships, awards and endowments would be
presented at a function here on May 29 and 30, she said.
As part of the literary enrichment programmes of the
academy, a two-day workshop on `Press Language` for journalsts
would be held next month.
An All-India Language Convention would be held at
Thiruvananthapuram in the first week of August,she added.
Foundation stone laying ceremony for the `Kamala Surayya
Cultural Complex at Punnaryurkulam, the poetess birth place,
would be held shortly.
