Bhopal: Hitting out at the Opposition, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said on Thursday that he would not spare those who had tried to defame him and his family and added that `liars would have to face legal action`.
The MP CM posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “They did not dare to face me in the Assembly. I will not spare those who have tried to defame me and my family. Liars will face legal action.”

Finally I gave full reply in the Assembly Auditorium after the opposition's cowardly disruption resulted in adjournment of the house.

Chouhan`s comment has come in the backdrop of the alleged Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam, which the Opposition Congress has raked up in a big way and has accused the ruling BJP of being involved in.
Promising to clean up the system, the MP CM tweeted, “Guilty of fraud in admissions or recruitments will not be spared. Total overhaul of systems to prevent any such fraud in future shall be done.”
At the same time he also said that lakhs of appointments were made based on merit. “The moment I came to know about irregularity, I ordered a probe by STF to book the guilty. Only few hundred admissions and recruitments have been cancelled. Painting everybody black is not fair to the vast meritorious majority,” he wrote in another post.

Chouhan also warned the Opposition that the illegal recruitments by the Congress in which daily wage labourers and hand pump mechanics as teachers were appointed would be probed.
“Congress had thrown all rule books in the dustbin. Illegal and arbitrary recruitments made by them during their regime shall also be probed,” he said.

We made an attempt to bring transparency by empowering a centralised agency to conduct exams for all subordinate civil services fairly.

Earlier today Chouhan while addressing BJP MLAs in the state Assembly auditorium after he was not allowed to reply on the adjournment motion moved by the Congress said that all efforts made by the Opposition to take his wicket on the MPPEB scam would prove futile.
"I am not a wicket of cricket. I am like Angad`s (mythological character in Ramayana) foot and all Congressmen even if they come together would not be able to displace me from my position," he quipped, PTI reported.
Earlier this month, over 100 students who allegedly cleared the Pre-Medical Test (PMT) through unfair means were arrested by the Special Task Force from different districts of Madhya Pradesh in connection with the scam.
The PMT was conducted by MPPEB whose top officials were already arrested by STF since the scam surfaced in 2013.
The STF, which is probing the matter had arrested former State Technical Education minister and BJP leader Laxmikant Sharma on June 15 for his alleged involvement in the contractual teachers recruitment scam. The contractual teachers examination too was conducted by the MPPEB.
