Bhopal: A youth was arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl living in his neighbourhood in the city.
Vipin Mishra, who lived near the house of the 15-year-old victim at police quarters in Jahangirabad locality, took her away on some pretext on Saturday and raped her, police said on Sunday.
The victim`s father and that of the accused work in the police department.
On returning home, the girl informed her parents about the incident following which they lodged a complaint with the Jahangirabad police.
Police arrested Vipin and booked him under charges of rape and abduction.
