Bomb scare in Jet Airways Mumbai-Doha flight

The aircraft was bought back to the parking bay and all guests were deplaned following which a thorough inspection of the flight was conducted.

Mumbai: A Jet Airways Mumbai-Doha fight was
today rescheduled following a bomb scare in the plane,
officials said.

"An anonymous note, sighting a non-specific security
threat was found by a guest aboard the Jet Airways flight 9W
552 from Mumbai to Doha, just minutes prior to the departure
of the flight at 8.25 pm," a Jet Airways spokesperson said.

The aircraft was bought back to the parking bay and all
the guests were deplaned safely following which a thorough
inspection of the flight was conducted by the Central
Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Mumbai Airports
Authority, the spokesperson said.

The flight was later rescheduled for 10.30 pm, the
spokesperson said.
